in with the new

As I sit here on New Year’s Eve, in a quiet house at the end of a long and busy holiday season, I am grateful that the year gone by went as well as it did.  I changed day jobs, I helped Clarion West with another year of doing what it does best, I finished and then polished a book, I had a story come out.

I’m working an another book, starting the agent hunt, working on editing a few short stories, and looking at making some fairly significant life changes in the coming year that I’m keeping under my hat for the moment. According to the calendar on my wall, 2016 is the Year of Doors, and January’s door is Freedom.

I’m looking forward to opening it.
