Title: Strange Packmates
In the days before days were born, Isis, grieving for Osiris, tricked the god of the hyenas into coming to earth, and used its power to raise her husband from the dead. To escape Isis' wrath after it refused to be her pet, the hyena god split itself into many fragments, becoming intelligent and eerie animals that spread south into the rest of Africa before the great deserts were formed. Eventually, some of those fragments found their way into human bodies, and one in particular is born again and again as Rememberer, the soul who has charge of holding all of the hyena stories ever told. Strange Packmates is the story of three Rememberers and their Chosens: Imhotep, Ay, and Usi. One will become a god. One will become a pharoh. And one will sacrifice himself so that his Chosen will have the chance to do what she was always meant to do: choose between returning the hyena god to where he came from, or killing him once and for all.

Title: Not For Jade
For Iyotushi Reiko, the past, present, and future are melding together. Her story takes place simultaneously in three times: ancient Japan in the pre-Edo period, the turbulent period just before the Edo era began, and modern-day California. Reiko is a kitsune, a Japanese fox spirit...and she has no idea who and what she is.
